When the delivery service managed to break the top and not deliver it, then damaged the base slightly, Amazon just sent a whole new top and base, and the others were taken back, problem solved.The table is awesomely beautiful ( a Chinese knockoff of a U.S. made piece that sells for many times the price). The glass is nicely beveled and finished at the edge; the base is a shiny black something that's O.K.. The curved pedestals are brushed satin finished stainless, strong and graceful. The problem with this piece was the on, one side, the the holes in the top of the stainless legs did not match up with the threaded drilled cuts in the round metals receptor which is bonded to the top. One hole even is a little visible beyond the edge of the silver top receiver. I liked the table so much, and didn't want to go through the risk of more shipping damages, that I carefully drilled new holes in the top piece and then used strong stainless... Read more |
