It is simple in design, and sturdy of build. The quality is very good. The finish is a flat black which will show some marks, but glossy would too. I'm quite satisfied. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. Generally it looks good and it appears to be sturdy. My only reservation is the table top. It's constructed by gluing together short strips of "scrap" wood, instead of a series of long boards that run the length of the table. Even though the table is darkly stained (essentially black), you can see these glued up strips when the light shines on the table just so. Sadly this reveals the somewhat low-cost quality of the product. Otherwise, it's fine. I'm sure we'll get years of good use from it.
